Abt Electronics Launches Luxury Kitchen Design Studio

Brands carried in the store range from mid to high end from leading brands LG, KitchenAid, Dacor, Samsung, Sony, SubZero, Wolf, Gaggenau, La Cornue, Thermador, Miele, Jenn-air, GE and Viking among others.Honoring the late Bob Abt’s final vision for his brand,  a design space offering interactive kitchen vignettes was artfully constructed on the second floor of the store surrounding the Atrium. Covering more than 10,000 square feet, 12 custom kitchens showcase each brand’s specific style. Gorgeous cabinetry, countertops, lighting and furniture finish off the look.

Traditionally, when you go to an appliance store, you see rows of each category (ie. refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens) with brands mixed together. There is no opportunity to operate the appliances to see how they actually work, how loud they are, how the burner style fits cookware and so on. Bob’s goal was to have a kitchen designed for a customer to interact with each appliance to determine which was truly the best fit for their cooking and design preferences. While the photos provided here are intended to offer a taste of the beauty of the Inspiration Studio, there is nothing like walking through it on your own. It’s all about the experience of envisioning the pieces in your own home.
