How often does it happen that you are on a business trip and in a city that has a restaurant you are dying to go too. But, when you call, there are no available reservations for weeks. No sweet talk or cajoling gets you that much-coveted table.
Well, Table8 has found a solution to this frustrating culinary challenge. A new restaurant reservation platform launched in major cities across the country that gives you access to the best restaurants in the city even if they are fully booked.
By joining the Table8 program, you will have the opportunity to dine at top participating restaurants across the country on short notice. This is how it works. The restaurants that work with Table8 reserve a certain number of tables each day for Table8 guests. If the restaurant is totally sold out, then you may have a small fee attached to the reservation at your restaurant of choice. To give you an idea, you are looking at a nominal amount of between $5-$25 depending on the number of guests and restaurant. If the restaurant turns out to have tables available, then you are not charged that fee.
So, if you normally use sources like Open Table that let you know the place you want to go is booked at 7:00 but they are happy to seat you at 5:00 or 9:00, you should check into Table8. If the restaurant is in their network, then you may find them seating you and your guests at 7:00 after all. It is the benefit of being a part of the Table8 system.
