`Cooking is one of my favorite ways to relax. Immersing myself in a recipe or creating one from scratch is simply a happy place to be. Especially when life is super busy or stressful. But there are days, weeks and even months, when life is just too crazy busy and I don’t have time or energy to cook. Which is why I am so thrilled to have found Snap Kitchen stores.I first learned about Snap Kitchen last year and have become a regular customer ever since. With stores in Austin, Dallas, Houston, Philadelphia and Chicago, customers have the opportunity to come into the stores and choose the meals, snacks, beverages and desserts that fit their specific nutrition and health goals.
When you first walk into the store, you notice that in the refrigerated cases, there are categories that describe each of the pre-made meals. The categories include meat, poultry, seafood, vegetarian, breakfast, beverages, snacks, and desserts.
Each of the Snap Kitchen recipes are chef created, dietitian approved and made from scratch every day in a local kitchen.
On each tag, along with the name of the dish, are the list of ingredients and nutritional information. Some dishes come in more than one size.
When you get to the beverage section, there’s a description that not only includes the ingredients but also the specific benefits that you will get when you drink the particular beverage.
You will also find that the menus will fit any lifestyle including Gluten Free, Paleo, Vegan, Whole 30 to name a few. If you are interested in more details about the dishes, you can go to Snap Kitchen’s website and find everything you want to know.
Here are some examples of my favorite Snap Kitchen dishes:
Spinach, Butternut Squash and Goat Cheese Scramble with La Colombe Coffee
Naked Chicken
Crunchy Coconut Shrimp
Hibiscus Lime Tea
Devily Eggs
As I wandered the store, I talked with the associate that was there and learned a few things about how much Snap Kitchen customers like their products. On Sundays in the Chicago store, you will find suburban fans coming into the city to stock up on their favorite meals for the week. When locals stop by a store, it may be to grab enough food and drink for the day or they will come and buy an average of 6-8 items to last them a few days. That sounds like a really good plan to me.
If you live in the Chicago area, Snap Kitchen launched their app to make ordering your favorites for in store pick up or delivery super easy. You can browse the menu, track your loyalty points, see real time product stock at your nearest shop and order your meals for the day or week. At this point, please note that the app is just for Chicago area customers and for IOS systems. Visit here to learn more about the app.
With the help of Snap Kitchen, having a busy life and eating healthy really do work together. From breakfast to snacks to lunch, dinner or juices, they have you covered with chef made and nutrition focused offerings. Thanks for the support, Snap Kitchen!
This all looks great, and it sounds great! I love the convenience of this service! I also love that it’s healthy! I’m so with you on the idea that cooking is therapeutic, but we don’t always have time or desire!
I don’t know if this service is in my area- I haven’t heard of it yet. Good idea for busy people who want to eat well, tho.
Oh wow – what a fantastic layout! I wish there was a Snap Kitchen in Atlanta – it seems so well organized – perfect for grabbing on the go!
What an awesome idea, super convenient on a busy weeknight when you don’t feel like cooking. 🙂
That is my philosophy as well. Thanks.
I can’t believe Snap Kitchen hasn’t come to the SF Bay Area yet. I found them when I was in Austin. They have the BEST foods 🙂
I agree, Sandi! Maybe they will see this for future expansion… Thanks!
