Special announcement
Adirondack Creamery
When the CFO of a NYC corporation takes his business knowledge and combines it with his passion for ice cream, Adirondack Creamery is born. This all natural ice cream brand is based out of the Western Adirondacks. Their farm family recipe uses exactly what you think ice cream should be made of: cream, milk, sugar, and egg yolks. No artificial ingredients or colors and as many locally sourced, simple, recognizable ingredients as possible.
This August, 2023, there will be two new flavors joining the Adirondack Creamery family: Kashmiri Kahwa and Black Mountain Brownie.
Kashmiri Kahwa
This flavor is inspired by the family’s recipe for Kashmiri Kahwa, a soul-stirring drink from the Himalayan Valley which resonates with the power of South Asian spices: cinnamon, green cardamom, cloves, a touch of saffron and a sprinkle of chopped almonds.
Kashmiri Kahwa is traditionally given to guests upon their arrival in the Kashmir Valley. If someone hands you a glass, it’s meant to be the warmest of welcomes. A hug from the inside out. A gesture to make you feel at home. There’s heart and emotion poured into every fragrant sip. When you taste these flavors paired with the sweet cream base, you are instantly transported back to Kashmir—a magical place overflowing with warmth and natural beauty. The hope is that when you taste this flavor, your (ice cream) cup runneth over in every possible way.
Black Mountain Brownie
Adirondack Creamery thinks combining rich chocolate ice cream with irresistible bites of fudge brownie is the height of decadence—some may even say the summit. A flavor that soars this high reminds us of Black Mountain, the highest peak on Lake George that rises across the water from Silver Bay where Adirondack Creamery was founded. No one is 100 percent sure how the mountain got its name, but the intense, dark color reminds us of peaks of chocolate ice cream. Whenever the family hikes Black Mountain, they pack freshly baked brownies to enjoy at the peak while taking in the magnificent views—and there’s nothing sweeter than that (unless making it to the top with a pint before the ice cream melted)!
