Entertain with La Croix Sparkling Water

Quick run to the grocery store today and found myself wandering in the water aisle. I am one of those people who always have water in my hand (or located close by) for a quick drink. What I find myself doing in my ever-present containers of water is to add flavors like fruit or herbs. But, how convenient would it be to be able to grab a can of water already flavored with bright flavors aside from lemon and lime?

You may have already heard of or enjoyed La Croix carbonated waters but when was the last time you took a look at the huge variety of flavors they now offer? I saw  the to-be-expected flavors like lemon and lime but how about:

Coconut

Apricot

Passionfruit

Mango

Grapefruit

Cran-Raspberry

Orange

Peach Pear

Or La Croix’s new Curate flavors which have European influences:

Apple Berry

Pineapple Strawberry

And for those cola lovers, LaCola, which has the natural cola essence.

Since La Croix waters are made from natural essence oils from the fruits themselves, there are no sugars or artificial ingredients in the water. That is a great thing! Bet you thought La Croix is out of Europe with that name…but it is actually a mixture of La Crosse, Wisconsin and the St. Croix river in Wisconsin. You will win that point in a trivia game!

So, as a means to drink more water every day, this is a wonderful solution to never be bored with the flavor varieties. And with company coming over for cocktails and knowing that not everyone drinks, I found the perfect solution for my mocktail option. Since I was serving wine, I thought it would be perfect to create a drink that could be served in a wine glass.
